Elena Bastrykina is a versatile, multi-lingual attorney. She is a full member of the Bar Association of Valencia and qualified to practice law in both Spain and Russia.

As a young attorney Elena gained seven years of valuable postgraduate experience litigating both Commercial and Conflicts Law for companies and public institutions in Russia. She then moved to Spain in 2011. Once here, she decided to continue her studies and gained dual Masters Degrees in both Spanish Business Law and Legal Practice.

Elena’s firm now specializes in commercial law and solving immigration issues for both EU and Non-EU citizens.

Her immigration client’s are walked through every stage of the application process for all types of residence permits, and she strongly advocates for their rights and freedoms as foreigners living in Spain.

Why did Elena choose to specialize in both commercial and immigration law?

During my first attempt to move Spain I hired and immigration specialist to file all my application paperwork with the Spanish Embassy in Russia. The experience was traumatizing and did not end well – it resulted in me initially being barred from entering the country.

I have extensive experience in business law – and the complex problems of the immigration process are something I personally and passionately relate to. Both specialties of course present their own unique set of challenges. But as a legal professional, it gives me great satisfaction to give each case the focused attention it deserves, and to create a positive outcome for my clients.
